Lead a Vote Campaign
This year we are competing for funding in the Pepsi Refresh and American Express Members Project online grant competitions. We need your help! At a large corporation? Have an extensive blog following or hundreds of LinkedIn or Facebook fans? Become a REACH Captain and encourage your constituency to vote daily during our one month spring campaign. Spread the word and become a vital volunteer team leader ensuring REACH’s continued financial viability and program success!
Host a Fundraiser
Join the ranks of corporations and organizations hosting fundraisers for REACH. Whether you are getting together with 5-10 friends or hosting a major event with hundreds, if you even get $5-$50 donations per person, that can quickly add up to hundreds of additional students served daily. REACH Education Council & College Admissions Mentoring
All Dean’s List donors and higher who wish to take on a more active volunteer role within the organization can apply to join the REACH Education Council, mentoring a high achieving REACH Scholar senior — who has already earned 4s or 5s (the highest scores possible) on their AP exams — as they engage in the college admissions process to get into some of the most competitive college programs in the country. Help organize college information panels and/or college field trips. Outreach to high school freshmen to get them excited about sophomore year AP courses and the college access that can open up for them.
College Access Mentor
Join a team to mentor REACH juniors as they begin to think about college and the application process. Teams compete throughout the fall and spring with milestones to ensure students are well-positioned for the college admissions process prior to the beginning of their senior year.
Donor Outreach Event Volunteer
Volunteer to chair or serve on a committee at one of our high profile REACH fundraisers throughout the year. Committee volunteers are needed for auction, ticket sales, program book, logistics, and catering. By helping ensure our events are a success, you are directly contributing to the success of our programs throughout the year.
